I love Fiverr. I’ve had a lot of success over the years building up a client base and earning money on Fiverr. The premise is simple – you set up a gig for a set price and someone buys it. It eliminates a lot of the hassle of negotiation that sites like Upwork require. But over the past few weeks, I’ve felt a bit adventurous. I set out to find the best sites like Fiverr to see if I could expand my horizons a bit. Here are the best sites I found that are similar to Fiverr. Zeerk When you visit Zeerk, you’re going to think you’ve landed on the Fiverr home page. The site is set up very similarly to Fiverr, and the gigs are priced the same as well. You, as a writer, will create a gig to sell. There’s a category for writing and translation, and you can select a subcategory. Your gig can include  a title, an explanation of the service, a photo and a price. Your price can range from $3 to $200. And they only charge a 10% fee to sellers like you. Fiverr charges 20%. Upon its creation, your gig is posted as an available service to buyers. Buyers can then purchase your service or contact you for more information. Easy? I think so! The best part of Zeerk is that there’s no waiting period to get paid. Unlike Fiverr, you can access your earnings just as soon as your client approves your work. FiverUp This freelancer platform isn’t kidding around. FiverUp appears in a Google search as â€Å"FiverUp: Hire Top Affordable Freelancers 20% Cheaper than Fiverr.† They know their competition, right? Like Zeerk, the site is set up in a similar manner to Fiverr’s layout. You’ll see categories of gigs offered, from â€Å"backlinks† to â€Å"ebooks.† You can charge anywhere between $4 and $100 for your gigs on FiverUp. But it’s got other similarities to Fiverr, and I’m not sure that it’ll be as successful as Zeerk. For example, you’ve got to wait 14 days before you receive payment for a project. It’s got its benefits, though. They’ll tweet your gig to their Twitter followers. You can also push your gig up to the top of the list once per day. GigBucks GigBucks operates on a similar premise to Fiverr, but using the site is a little different. Gigs are listed by category, and instead of being top posted based on ratings or number of gigs sold, buyers can search by other criteria. For example, they can sort from lowest to highest price, or by the most viewed first. Writers can post gigs ranging in cost from $5 to $50, and are paid via PayPal. Like Fiverr, there’s a 20% fee deducted from each gig sold, so make sure you price your gig to reflect that. And, like Fiverr and others, you’ll have to wait two weeks to be  paid. For five bucks, it may not be worth the wait for you. GigBucks does have quite a few categories, though, so it may be a good venue to sell your ebook or other small service. You can post as many gigs as you like, so it could be a good way to make some quick cash. Tenrr The folks over at Tenrr made nothing secret about the fact that they’re a Fiverr clone. The advantage to listing on Tenrr is that there aren’t any fees associated with selling your gigs. But there are disadvantages, too. Because the site is free for sellers, there’s very little arbitration in place should something go wrong. Payments are made through PayPal, which does offer a bit of buyer protection. But as an example, the bigger sites offer a full payment service including refunds and automatic payment. On Tenrr, you’ll issue your own refunds and are responsible for collecting payment from clients. I also feel as if sellers on Tenrr may not be taken as seriously as others, and that’s just a factor of how the site is laid out. Your content writing gig could quite easily be listed on the same page as someone offering something a bit more R rated, and that doesn’t bode well for some clients. Overall, the sites okay, but its not one of the best sites like Fiverr for your reputation. Why not Fiverr? I’ve written quite a bit about how highly I recommend Fiverr. If not as a full time platform for freelance writers, then at least as a way to make a considerable amount of money. So why am I outlining a list of the best sites like Fiverr? A few reasons. First of all, that 20% fee that Fiverr takes puts a huge dent in your earnings. Its only five bucks, but you worked hard for that money. And when Fiverr takes a dollar of it, and then PayPal takes even more, it’s going to start to frustrate you. With that in mind, I wanted to let you know that there are other, similar sites out there that don’t deduct at the same rate. Secondly, 15 days is a ridiculously long time to wait for five dollars. In fact, when I first started working as a freelancer, I joined Fiverr. I did a few small gigs here and there, and earned maybe ten bucks, tops. Then I forgot about it. When I returned to the platform last year, that money was still sitting there in escrow. Finally, I still maintain that Fiverr is great if you’re going to use the platform long term. But if you’re just doing a writing job every now and then, it’s going to take a while for you to become successful. Fiverr, like Upwork and others, works on a rating system. The more gigs you sell and the higher your rating, the more jobs you’ll get. Getting one five dollar job isn’t going to move you up the ranks on Fiverr. Not very quickly, anyway. There’s a certain amount of self-promotion and marketing that you’ll have to do in order to get noticed on the platform, and that takes time. Using a smaller site may increase your chances of being hired. These sites will give you a good start!

Stories about journalists investigating scandals have always been popular topics for films. First and foremost it can be explained by a desire of a human being to rummage in the staff of other people, to take the skeleton out of a cupboard and learn all the ins and outs of another person. Journalists are similar to sleuthhounds, which are poking their nose into affairs of others, making a sensation out of it. And when it comes to political scandals, their interest is boosted even more. The film, directed by Alan J. Pakula All the President’s Men, is a paragon of a film, where journalists investigate a scandal, which relates to President of the Unites States of America and other authorities. However, the topic itself was more than successful from the very beginning – a story of politicians involved into espionage is already a scenario for a bestseller. The film, based on true facts in June 1972, is telling a story of two journalists, being absolutely different: a handsome blond as a model of the film industry those days, and an ordinary typical journalist of the Washington Post, are to work with each other on a topic, which is to become a sensation for the newspaper. They start investigation of the so-called Watergate scandal, when five men were caught planting bugs and other tapping devices in the Democratic National Committee headquarters. As it turned out later, all these five people had some CIA background. Woodward and Berstein, the main heroes, a re encouraged by their editor to gather information for the first page. Throughout the whole story Woodward and Berstein are investigating the story discovering more and more facts. Finally, due to help of their anonymous source â€Å"Deep Throat† they manage to disclose some of the facts. The film is ending with resignation of President Nixon and the inauguration of Gerald Ford in August 1974. As it has already been mentioned in question, the film is based on real facts, which took place in 1972 before the election of the US President. Actually, in the beginning of the 1970s, a political scandal shocked the United States – some people broke into the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate complex in Washington, D.C. The next morning it was revealed that five men Frank Sturgis, Virgilio Gonzà ¡lez, James W. McCord, Jr., Bernard Barker and Eugenio Martà ­nez, whose roots were leading to CIA either directly or indirectly, were arrested for violation of federal wiretapping laws, burglary and conspiracy. However, the fact that an office of a Democratic Party was broken in and the bugs were planted was not a shock itself. Very soon, it was revealed that actually, higher-echelon government officials were involved into this break-in. Nonetheless, even the fact that higher-echelon government officials took part in the break-in was not the final point in this case. After an investigation of the FBI, it was found out that the payments paid to the burglars were connected to a slush fund, used by the 1972 Committee to Re-elect the President. Finally, it was revealed that not only presidents staff was involved into tapping, but President Nixon himself had a tape recording system in his office, and many conversations had already been recorded. These very tapes, actually, helped to reveal that President was trying to cover up the break-in, and after a series of court battles, under the resolution of the US Supreme Court, President was obliged to hand over the tapes. Further on, the scandal pushed the story to a near-certain impeachment of President Nixon. To avoid such disgrace, 9 August 1974 President Nixon resigned, remaining the first and the only President of the US who resigned before the end of the term. The issue itself drew a wide response in the media, as it seemed to be absolutely nonsensical that President and all his men are violating hard and fast rules. The film is reflecting actual events, which took place during those days. However, the story itself is investigated from the side of two journalists, but for the FBI or other authorities. Throughout the film, one can learn all the ins and outs of the journalistic activity and the process of fishing out the information. Actually, the film itself is really breathtaking and exciting; nonetheless, it would be more useful for a journalistic class rather than History. Throughout the film too much attention is devoted to the process of ‘fishing out’. No doubt, they were very informative, but at the same time non- informative with regard to History. I do not think that the film itself will be very useful in a history class as it does not but lacks facts. History loves proven facts; otherwise, the story turns into fiction. The journalists do reveal many facts, which may be interesting; at the same time do not pay attention to the nuts and bolts of the whole story. With regard to the usefulness of the film as for people who are new to the topic, it has certain advantages. First of all, the film is interpreting the philistine point of view. These two journalists were ordinary citizens who were tracking the case in the light of ordinary people: neither FBI nor other governmental authorities. While they were gathering facts, the case was forming like a puzzle. Throughout the film, each and everyone is investigating the case with these two journalists. As a result, this film can be used as a background for a person, who wants to learn more about the Watergate scandal. The film, as a product of entertainment, is very interesting. Work of director as well as the actors and the whole team are professional and on a high level. Not only does the film keep everyone on edge, but it also tells a real story, which happened 38 years ago, but still remains a unique one in the history of the United States. It sheds light on the facts which cannot be always read in the history books, being told by the witnesses of the scandal. Actually, mainstream entertainment can be very useful for the teaching process. I cannot say effective, as it has already been mentioned in question that History requires facts, but can be useful to arouse interest to the issue. Such means should be used in the beginning of the topic to be discussed, so that students could get the general and vivid overview of the issue. Moreover, it is common knowledge that films are much easier perceived than books, and can catch interest of students faster. However, mainstream entertainment cannot and should not completely replace books, as while studying History it is very important to see several points of view. History is not an exact science; it is very often subjective, as it is interpreted by a human being, who has his own interests and views. That’s why I am determined that in order to understand the issue it is important to review several points of view and come to one conclusion, which can also be subjective.

Parkinson’s is a disease that causes the nervous system to degenerate which means that person’s health is declining mentally, physically, and morally. Parkinson’s causes a loss in balance, which is the cause for most of the falls. These falls lead to the most injuries a Parkinson’s patient has; whether it be fractures or concussions. It causes a loss in muscle movement and muscle control. Patients with Parkinson’s get really stiff when the medication wears off and is hard to move and do simple daily activities. Taking the overhead into consideration is not only required for creating an appropriate budget for the company but at the same time it also aids the company in understanding the amount it needs to charge in order to cater the products and services offered by it (Droms Wright, 2010). The overheads can be variable and thus increase or decrease on the basis of the activity level of the business organization. The over applied overhead or under applied manufacturing overhead can be defined as the difference that exists between the applied overhead cost of manufacturing for a particular spa n of time and the actual overhead cost manufacturing incurred by the company during that period of time. In the case when the applied cost of overhead is of a greater amount than the manufacturing overhead, it is defined as over applied manufacturing overhead. And when the applied overhead is below the actual overhead it is known as the under applied manufacturing overhead (Maher, Stickney, Weil, 2012). The management calculates the applied overhead on the basis of a predetermined overhead rate and thus there is the occurrence of over and under applied overhead is very much normal in the industry of manufacturing. Along with this there are many other factors for which cases of over and under applied overheads occur in the manufacturing business. A worker is paid a sum of money per hour to give an expected output. If the worker delivers more output then the company will face over applied overhead and if the worker is not able to deliver the expected output then it would result in an under applied overhead.
